Northern Pike

The DNR suggests that any hammer handle size northern pike caught in BML should not be thrown back. The population of northerns is too high, resulting in stunted growth. Take them home and pickle them. Use them for fertilizer. But, most of all, remove them from BML.

Membership

The goal of the BMLA Board is for all lakeshore property owners to be dues paying members of the BMLA. The Board cannot achieve this goal on its own. Please talk to your neighbors. Ask them if they are BMLA members. If not, ask why. Suggest they check out this website to learn more about BML, the work of the BMLA, and why their participation as a dues paying BMLA member is important.
