Friends of BML
Participation in the BMLA is open all Big Marine Lake lakeshore property owners, all users of the lake, and anyone who has an interest in keeping the lake healthy and beautiful.
Advocacy is a numbers game. The BMLA needs to maintain and increase our participation numbers to help advance our agenda with governmental agencies and other entities from whom we seek grants or assistance. That is, maintaining a high percentage of lakeshore property owners who donate to our efforts has a significant impact on our ability to achieve positive action.
Over the years, maximum participation in any year has been at most been 60% of an estimated total of 250 Big Marine lakeshore property owners.
We can’t do it without you. Your generosity allows us to take the steps necessary to safeguard Big Marine Lake for future generations. Every dollar helps ensure that the water remains clean, clear, and navigable for the benefit of humans and wild creatures.
